About SRC

Solid Rock Carpenters was started in 2005 in response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster. We've had more than 38 teams travel to Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and have built more than 28 homes with Habitat for Humanity.

We've worked on many different Habitat projects. We've done "Blitz" and "Accelerated" builds, framed houses in Glenview, IL that were shipped to Louisiana and Chicagoland, and worked with community leaders to help repair and build for people in need. We've built a playground, and beds for homeless shelters.

Our desire is to help provide shelter for people in need.
