About SRC

Solid Rock Carpenters was started in 2005 in response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster. We've had about 30 teams travel to Louisiana and Mississippi and built more than 20 homes with Habitat for Humanity.

We've worked on many different Habitat projects. We've done "Blitz" and "Accelerated" builds, framed houses in Glenview, IL that were shipped to Louisiana, and worked with community leaders to help repair and build for people in need. We've built a playground, and beds for homeless shelters.

Our desire is to help provide shelter for people in need.
